Well done to this week’s Merit Award Winners.

FS1/tiny steps	Ronnie- for trying extra hard in his phonics
FS2	Omari- for showing a great interest in our new minibeast topic and writing some super sentences.
1	Tulip Class – For doing amazing in our Phonics Screening Check this week. We are so proud of you all!
2	Natalia – for always trying so hard with all of her school work and for being very helpful in the classroom
3	Joseph – For being a role model of our school expectations and always giving his all.
4	Gracey P – Gracey is a wonderful friend to everybody and is an incredibly hardworking member of our year 4 team! She is always doing the right thing and exceeding expectations! Keep being wonderful, Gracey!
5	Tommy H – Tommy is an incredible role model in the classroom – he puts 100% effort into all of his work and is an incredible teacher to his peers. You are a star Tommy and we have loved having you as part of our team!
6	Sophia- For being a consistently excellent pupil. You are a super star!

FS2	James- for having a positive attitude to school life.
1	Epa – for settling in well to his new school. It is lovely to have you in the Tulip class Epa.
2	Elias – for having such a positive attitude towards all of his learning
3	Anastasia – for outstanding behaviour for learning.
4	Hubert – Hubert has had a fantastic week working hard in the classroom and developing positive friendships with his peers. You’re a superstar, Hubert!
5	Markey – Markey is a superstar at maths reasoning and absolutely smashed through his practice questions. He is an incredible teacher and is always ready to help other children understand our learning! I am so grateful for your help, Markey!

FS1/tiny steps	Tayo- Tayo has had a great week, he has tried his best and has been super polite to all.
FS2	James- James has started this term with a super positive attitude. Keep up the hard work!
1	Mrs White is super proud of Kayden this week. He has tried so hard in every lesson and has been an Alf Champion for literacy and maths. Well done Kayden!
2	Orah – for her wonderful attitude towards learning. She is always so conscientious with her work, so eager to learn and an excellent role model
3	Joseph – Joseph’s attitude this week has been aspirational. He has been determined and resilient. He has also been a role model of our school expectations earning himself exemplary behaviour.
4	Sophia – Sophia is an absolute delight in the classroom! She consistently has the correct attitude to learning and is so respectful. She is a great friend to all children in the classroom and we are so lucky to have her in Year 4!
5	Nahya – Nahya is a fantastic role model in the classroom. She has an outstanding attitude to learning, consistently pushes herself out of her comfort zone and is always ready to help those around her. You’re lovely, Nahya!
6	Jared has, from the start, shown himself to be an excellent pupil and friend. In lessons, he works hard and when a friend is in need, he steps in to support them. Keep it up Jared!

FS1/tiny steps	Nikas- Nikas has tried extremely hard in phonics this week. He can clap the syllables in his name. His confidence is growing massively! Keep it up.
FS2	Alfie- for having a positive attitude to learning. Alfie has tried particularly hard this week in all of his lessons. Keep it up, we are so proud of you!
1	Emilee- is such a positive role model to the rest of the tulip class. She is always ready to learn, she works hard and always follows the expectations. Well done Emilee.
2	Makayla – for being such a pleasure to teach! Makayla is always so hard-working and such a kind and considerate member of the Sunflower team
3	Nell – Role model of the school expectations Nell has been a pleasure to teach due to her desire to work hard and for always being ready to learn.
4	Oakley – Oakley has had a fantastic week back at school! He has shown respect to the staff in his class and has come into school ready to learn everyday! We are SO proud of Oakley and the progress he has made this week. You’re a legend, Oakley!
5	Tommy H – Tommy has had a brilliant week. He has shown respect to those around him, contributed outstanding ideas to class discussions and created some beautiful pieces of work. Well done Tommy, you’ve been a fantastic role model this week!
6	Lilly- Lilly is a constant joy to have in the class. She is an incredible role model for her peers and consistently works hard at every task given to her.

FS1/tiny steps	Ahmed- Ahmed is an amazing pupil. He always tries his best in lessons and shows expected behaviour. Keep it up!
FS2	Star- Star is a delight to teach. She is a great role model in EYFS. She is super kind and caring and tries her absolute best. Keep up the good work you superstar!
1	Wynter – Wynter has worked really hard on her big write about our Amy Johnson visit. Well done Wynter!
2	Layla – for her beautiful handwriting and amazing Big Write
3	Nell- Nell is an amazing student- hard working, polite, helps others and loves her learning. We are all so proud of the super star!
4	Gracie – Gracie is an absolute delight. She is kind, respectful and a calming presence in the room. All of Gracie’s work is pristine because she is so hardworking. Gracie, you are an absolute star and you make year 4 proud!
5	Noku – Noku has an outstanding attitude to learning and has made so much progress because of this. She absolutely smashed her maths arithmetic test and is a fantastic role model for the rest of the class. You’re a star, Noku!
6	Rosie- Rosie is a constant shining star in the classroom. She loves to help her friends succeed and remains positive even when facing challenging work in class. Keep it up Rosie!

FS1/tiny steps	Nora- for being a great role model in our class. Keep it up.
FS2	Ruru- for always trying hard at school. Ruru was very enthusiastic when we had a visitor from the dentist this week and they were super impressed with all the knowledge she had retained about the importance of keeping our teeth clean.
1	Bella – for trying hard with her writing this week.
2	Harley-Jay – for always trying so hard with everything! Harley-Jay has worked particularly hard in Maths this week
3	Jude- Jude is cheerful in class, tries his very best all of the time and helps others with their work too. Amazing!
4	King – King has been working incredibly hard on his tests this week. He has really put his best foot forward and shown off how amazing he is! We are so proud of you, King!
5	Elise – Elise has worked so hard to push herself out of her comfort zone this week. She has participated in PE, completed all of her work and contributed to class discussions. She even helped her group create an outstanding spell for the witches of Macbeth! Well done Elise, we are so proud of you!
6	Emilia- Emilia has been consistently excellent since the start of the year. She always puts 100% effort into every task she does and sets a shining example for everyone around her.

FS2	Xander- for being so enthusiastic returning back to school.
1	Pheobie- Impressing me with her phonics, spelling and reading this week. Well done!
2	Isabelle – for amazing progress in reading and Maths – well done!
3	Latisha- Lastisha has worked absolutely perfectly with everything all week. I could not ask any more of her and I am amazingly proud. Keep it up.
4	Ivan – Ivan has come back into the Spring term a new person! He is working so hard on regulating his own emotions and is constantly reminding himself of good advice he has received! I could not be more proud of the person Ivan is! You’re a legend!
5	Lily – Lily has been on fire this week! She has been contributing to class discussions and trying extra hard with all of our learning. You are a star Lily and we love having you as part of the Year 5 team!

Here are our merit award winners for Friday 5th September 2025. Well done!!

FS1	Willow for coming back to school with a real passion for learning and exploring the new environment
FS2	Harrison for being so settled, playing in lots of areas and setting an example to the rest of the class at all times
1	Ronnie for showing a mature attitude and settling well into Year 1. He is always ready to learn and a brilliant role model to all.
2	Ruben for settling in so well, always ready to learn and setting a good example to others
3	Charlie for being unbelievably kind, helpful and hardworking all week. A brilliant role model.
4	Warren for having a brilliant start to his new school and classroom! We are so proud of you, Warren and we’re so glad that you’re here!
5	Viktorija for always doing the right thing and is a fantastic role model to her peers. Viktorija already earned enough tokens to buy something from our token shop – what an absolute star!

Here are our merit award winner for this week 2/5/25. Well done.

	Willow- for settling into nursery and making friends.
FS2	Jack – having a real interest in writing and handwriting this week
1	Elias – for always being a good friend and a help in hand.
2	Malik – for his amazing attitude towards learning. He is always so enthusiastic and regularly completes extra work at home
3	Jewel – for an absolutely excellent week in Maths. She has worked so hard multiplying 2 digit numbers by a 1 digit number.
4	Marty – for being brave when resolving conflicts this week and coming up with solutions independently. Well done, Marty!
5	Rosie – For having an absolutely incredible attitude to learning. Rosie has worked so hard in all of our lessons this week and always shows resilience when she finds things difficult. We’re so proud of you Rosie, you’re smashing it!
6	India- Rose- for working so hard and showing determination to do her best!
