FS2	George- For following instructions and always being super polite. Keep it up!
1	Vinnie – for amazing effort in his maths test this week. Well done Vinnie!
2	Jeannie – for being an amazing role model to the Sunflower team
3	Jamima – Jamima has been a credit to her class. All week she has worked incredibly hard and persevered when challenges have occurred.
4	Emily – Emily has been fantastic in maths this week! She is beginning to work more independently and is growing in confidence to answer questions in class. We are SO proud of you, Emily!
5	Darcie – Darcie has had a fantastic week! Darcie shows enthusiasm in all of our lessons and is like a sponge: remembering everything she is taught! She always contributes to class discussions and has tried so hard to make the right decisions this week!
6	Stephanie- Stephanie has been excellent in all areas. She works hard in all subjects and is an incredibly kind and thoughtful friend to her peers. Her hard work is only surpassed by her love of food!

FS1/tiny steps	Opel- always trying her best in all her lessons and showing respectful behaviour.
FS2	Harrison- Harrison has tried super hard with his writing this week. He is even starting to write sentences with multiple tricky words in. Keep it up!
1	Lucian – Lucian has been working very hard in his phonics lessons over the past couple of weeks. Well done Lucian, keep it up!
2	Jack – for always trying so hard with all of his school work. He has made amazing progress in phonics. Well done, Jack!
3	Archie – For trying to be more independent.
4	Albert – Albert has impressed staff in ‘The Hive’ this week with his hard work and determination! Albert is a resilient member of the school and we could not be more proud of him! Well done, Albert!
5	Marty – Marty has been pushing himself in every maths lesson this week. He has impressed us with his understanding of place value and has become more confident in sharing his answers with the class. He even scored 30/32 on his arithmetic. What a star!
6	Olivia W- Olivia consistently shows dedication and hard work in the classroom. She is a huge support to her peers and always sets a good example.

At Marfleet Primary Academy, we understand that you are your child’s first and most enduring educator. Our Parent Offer is designed to bridge the gap between home and the classroom, creating a “wrap-around” support system that ensures every child reaches their full potential.

Our Core Pillars of Support

Communication & Clarity: We pride ourselves on an “Open Door” policy. Through our regular Arbor communications, and termly parent-teacher consultations, you will always have a clear window into your child’s learning journey and their progress.
Parent offer: Alongside out parent events and workshops the school has it own dedicated Early Help Worker that visits our school each week. If you feel you would benefit from this support please contact Mrs Thomas via the school office.

Early Years Excellence: For our youngest learners, we work closely with local Early Years providers and health to ensure we offer a robust transition programme.
Safeguarding & Wellbeing: Your child’s safety is our top priority. We provide parents with regular updates on Online Safety, mental health resources, and workshops on how to support your child’s emotional resilience.
A Shared Voice: We don’t just listen; we collaborate. Through our Parent Forum and the Ofsted Parent View portal, your feedback directly influences our School Improvement Plan.

FS1/tiny steps	Nikas- Nikas has tried extremely hard in phonics this week. He can clap the syllables in his name. His confidence is growing massively! Keep it up.
FS2	Alfie- for having a positive attitude to learning. Alfie has tried particularly hard this week in all of his lessons. Keep it up, we are so proud of you!
1	Emilee- is such a positive role model to the rest of the tulip class. She is always ready to learn, she works hard and always follows the expectations. Well done Emilee.
2	Makayla – for being such a pleasure to teach! Makayla is always so hard-working and such a kind and considerate member of the Sunflower team
3	Nell – Role model of the school expectations Nell has been a pleasure to teach due to her desire to work hard and for always being ready to learn.
4	Oakley – Oakley has had a fantastic week back at school! He has shown respect to the staff in his class and has come into school ready to learn everyday! We are SO proud of Oakley and the progress he has made this week. You’re a legend, Oakley!
5	Tommy H – Tommy has had a brilliant week. He has shown respect to those around him, contributed outstanding ideas to class discussions and created some beautiful pieces of work. Well done Tommy, you’ve been a fantastic role model this week!
6	Lilly- Lilly is a constant joy to have in the class. She is an incredible role model for her peers and consistently works hard at every task given to her.

FS2	Star- Star is a delight to teach. She is a great role model in EYFS. She is super kind and caring and tries her absolute best. Keep up the good work you superstar!
1	Wynter – Wynter has worked really hard on her big write about our Amy Johnson visit. Well done Wynter!
2	Layla – for her beautiful handwriting and amazing Big Write
3	Nell- Nell is an amazing student- hard working, polite, helps others and loves her learning. We are all so proud of the super star!
4	Gracie – Gracie is an absolute delight. She is kind, respectful and a calming presence in the room. All of Gracie’s work is pristine because she is so hardworking. Gracie, you are an absolute star and you make year 4 proud!
5	Noku – Noku has an outstanding attitude to learning and has made so much progress because of this. She absolutely smashed her maths arithmetic test and is a fantastic role model for the rest of the class. You’re a star, Noku!
6	Rosie- Rosie is a constant shining star in the classroom. She loves to help her friends succeed and remains positive even when facing challenging work in class. Keep it up Rosie!

FS1/tiny steps	Layjah- Layjah is a brilliant role model in our class. He works super hard and always shows expected behaviour. Well done Layjah!
FS2	Rutendo- Ruru always tries her best in everything that she does. I was particularly impressed with Ruru finding the pulse to multiple songs in our music lesson.
1	Jada- Jada has impressed Mrs Dunnachie and myself with her progress in phonics this week. Keep it up Jada
2	Eva-Maria – for an amazing piece of writing! Eva-Maria always tries so hard with all of her work
3	Joseph- he always tries his very best in everything that he does. He loves to learn and it always shows- brilliant effort Joseph.
4	Aria – Aria is an absolute pleasure to have in the classroom. She has worked so hard in her tests and her progress is astounding! Aria listens intently to all instructions and takes her time on tasks, completing them to a high standard. Wow, Aria!
5	Harrison C – Harrison has been outstanding this week! He absolutely blew us away with his incredible answers on our school trip – remembering all of our history knowledge and impressing the staff! He has been on fire in the classroom – always giving high quality answers and trying so hard! You’re a star, Harrison!
6	Olivia Tokarska – Olivia has shown incredible reliance lately, particularly in maths. She has made incredible progress and has grown in confidence. Keep it up Olivia!

FS2	Ruru- for always trying hard at school. Ruru was very enthusiastic when we had a visitor from the dentist this week and they were super impressed with all the knowledge she had retained about the importance of keeping our teeth clean.
1	Bella – for trying hard with her writing this week.
2	Harley-Jay – for always trying so hard with everything! Harley-Jay has worked particularly hard in Maths this week
3	Jude- Jude is cheerful in class, tries his very best all of the time and helps others with their work too. Amazing!
4	King – King has been working incredibly hard on his tests this week. He has really put his best foot forward and shown off how amazing he is! We are so proud of you, King!
5	Elise – Elise has worked so hard to push herself out of her comfort zone this week. She has participated in PE, completed all of her work and contributed to class discussions. She even helped her group create an outstanding spell for the witches of Macbeth! Well done Elise, we are so proud of you!
6	Emilia- Emilia has been consistently excellent since the start of the year. She always puts 100% effort into every task she does and sets a shining example for everyone around her.

3	Latisha- Lastisha has worked absolutely perfectly with everything all week. I could not ask any more of her and I am amazingly proud. Keep it up.
4	Ivan – Ivan has come back into the Spring term a new person! He is working so hard on regulating his own emotions and is constantly reminding himself of good advice he has received! I could not be more proud of the person Ivan is! You’re a legend!
5	Lily – Lily has been on fire this week! She has been contributing to class discussions and trying extra hard with all of our learning. You are a star Lily and we love having you as part of the Year 5 team!

1	Poppy – For setting a brilliant example in the class and always being ready to learn. Poppy always contributes to lessons and has a fantastic attitude towards learning
2	Natalia – for settling so well in the Sunflower team, always trying her very best and being a kind friend
3	Mila- for being a real superstar in year 3 with exemplary behaviour and for working so hard.
4	Bryleigh – Bryleigh has been a super star so far this term! She is always a good friend to others and approaches learning with the right attitude! We love having you in Year 4, Bryleigh!
5	Oliver – Oliver has been an absolute star since joining Year 5. He has been trying so hard to make sure he is making good choices and he works hard in all of our lessons. He is always ready to challenge himself and contribute to class discussions. We are so proud of you, Oliver!
