Playing Out Programme

Hull City Council have developed a “Playing Out” programme, which allows residents to apply for a temporary road closure so that children can play safely on the street close to their doorstep like they did in past generations.

The scheme will also help with building a sense of community and belonging, which in turn makes streets feel safer and friendlier places to live.
