KS2 SATs and data sharing

At Marfleet Academy, our year 6 pupils take the end of KS2 SATs in May. These national assessments measure progress and attainment in reading, mathematics and grammar, punctuation and spelling. They help us understand each child’s learning journey and ensure they are well prepared for secondary school.

We share SATs outcomes with parents, the local authority and the Department for Education. This information helps us;

  • Track progress and celebrate achievements
  • Provide tailored support for every learner
  • Identify areas for improvement in teaching and learning

The table below shows our most recent published results (academic year 2024-2025) including the percentage of pupils achieving the expected standard and those achieving a high level of attainment.

Pupils meeting expected standard in reading, writing and maths
Pupils achieving at a higher standard reading, writing and maths

The school has recently been recognised by the Department for Education for its outcomes for disadvantaged pupils. The schools performance places it among the very best nationally.
