PSHE

At Marfleet Primary Academy, our intent for PSHE is to equip every child, from the earliest stages of their development, with the essential knowledge, skills, and attributes to flourish as happy, healthy, and responsible individuals within our school community and the wider world. We aim to foster a robust safeguarding culture by empowering children to recognise safe and unsafe feelings, articulate their worries, and identify trusted adults. We aim to develop well-rounded pupils ready for secondary school and adult life by building strong social and emotional intelligence, promoting empathy, introducing concepts of active citizenship, and encouraging healthy lifestyle choices.
