Online Supporting Children in Family Learning – Tuesday 9.30-11.30am. This course looks at how parents and carers can support their children at home with learning. Each week we explore a different aspect of learning which includes teaching numeracy, literacy, barriers to learning and how children learn. This is a 6 week course with the option of a further 2 weeks for an accredited qualification. Tel 01482 615349. Online Skill Up Healthy Living – Thursday 9.30-11.30am. This course explores different areas of healthy living. We look at planning meals, dietary requirements, exercise, local activities and the positives of being healthy. Tel 01482 615349. Online Skill Up Safe Activities Play – Thursday 1-3pm. This course covers the benefits of play and engagement, planning activities, health and safety and creative thinking. Tel 01482 615349. Online Skill Up Using Technology with Children – Monday 9.30-11.30am. This course looks at different forms of technology children use from a very early age. It helps parents/carers identify technology toys and activities that are appropriate for children of different ages and how they can promote learning and development. It also looks at IT security and Internet safety. Tel 01482 615349.
