Marfleet and Beyond

Marfleet Primary Academy: A Hub for Hope

Our Partnership with the Reach Foundation’s “Cradle-to-Career” Programme

At Marfleet Primary Academy, we believe that a child’s success is built on more than just what happens between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm. We are proud to be part of the Reach Foundation’s Cradle-to-Career (C2C) Partnership, a national network of schools dedicated to supporting children and families from birth all the way through to adulthood.

What is “Cradle-to-Career”?

Education doesn’t happen in a vacuum. The C2C model recognises that for a child to thrive academically, they need a foundation of stability, health, and strong relationships. By partnering with the Reach Foundation, we are moving beyond the traditional role of a school to become a “community anchor”—connecting the dots between education, family support, and local services.

How We Are Making a Difference

Through this partnership, Marfleet is implementing a “seamless pipeline” of support that focuses on three core areas:

  • Educational Coherence: Aligning our curriculum from the earliest years through to secondary transition, ensuring every child has the knowledge and confidence to pursue their aspirations.

  • Strengthening Families: Building deep, trusting relationships with parents. We offer more than just a school gate greeting; we provide a network of support, from early years guidance to help during challenging transitions.

  • Local System Coherence: Acting as a connector. We work alongside local partners in health, social care, and the community to ensure no family falls through the gaps.

The Impact: Beyond the Classroom

By adopting this holistic approach, we aren’t just improving SATs scores—we are changing life trajectories. Our students are growing into resilient, ambitious young people who know that their community is invested in their future.

At Marfleet, we aren’t just teaching for today; we are building the foundations for a lifetime of choice and opportunity.
