Rain, rain go away!!!  ☔
Wider opening
As you may be aware from the news, the government has decided that schools will not be open to any other year groups other than those they have outlined. Currently, we have lots of Key Worker cand Vulnerable children and will be welcoming back our class of 8 year 1 children on Tuesday. As we have to limit the number of children per class to 8 we have reached capacity very quickly. Although we would love to offer places to all children it simply isn’t possible.
Year 6 leavers
Mr Dear has been putting together ideas for how we can see our wonderful year 6 children off in style. By now we were hoping we could have some kind of get together before the summer, however this is looking less and less likely due to government restrictions. We are looking into all other possibilities including postponing our prom until after the summer break like lots of the secondary school have done, we even talked about a virtual disco and virtual leavers assembly ? Mr Dear is going to contact parents and children about ideas over the coming days and we will then put together a leavers goodbye package!
A special thank you
I would personally like to thank a very special parent, Claire Skelton this week who has gone above and beyond in supporting one of our families and kept in constant contact with school during an incredibly difficult time. Thanks from all of us to all those other parents that have also reached out ?
