Theme of the Week w/c 7th October 2019

Theme of the Week w/c 30th September 2019

This week’s theme is Judaism.   Rosh Hashanah will begin on Sunday 29th September and ends on Tuesday 1st October. Children will be learning about this religion in classes and there will be an assembly with Miss Hemingway.

This week’s attendance winners were The Oaks with 98% attendance! The Birches achieved 96% and the Daisies achieved 97% this week – the first time ever on the monopoly board for The Daisies! The whole school attendance was 94% – this needs to improve next week....

This week’s theme was Democracy.   The children looked at what democracy is. International Democracy Day was Sunday 15th September. The school council got feedback from each class from children about what they would like to see happening in school.
