Mrs Victoria Shaw

Executive Head of School

A very warm welcome to our school website.

Development and growth is at the root of what we believe in as a school. Developing children’s creativity and helping them grow not only academically but as individuals is at the heart of what we do.

I am very proud to be the Executive Head of School of such a fabulous school filled with such wonderful children. I believe that our school is a truly wonderful place to learn and grow. We work very hard to ensure every child experiences a wealth of opportunities so they enjoy coming to school, feel safe and understand their own very special role within our school community. Through our ‘Marfleet learning goal’ Our children are encouraged to develop resilience and independence, nurturing them to become confident learners. This in turn leads to children striving to reach their potential – something that all our children can be proud of.

The school is wholeheartedly committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning, achieved through a combination of creativity, challenge, support, encouragement and praise to ensure that all pupils and staff fulfil their potential and are given the best possible opportunities to succeed.

The positive support of our parents/ carers and the wider community is very important to us all and we maintain an open and welcoming environment where we can work in partnership for the benefit of our pupils. There are regular opportunities for parents and wider families to collaborate with us in the children’s education.

Please take some time to look through our school website; it will give you a further insight into our school.  Don’t forget to look at our “Latest News” and our Twitter feed for the most current activities within the school. Visiting our school will give you a full and better picture of our special learning environment; if you would like to visit our school don’t hesitate to get in contact via the details on the “Contact Us” page.
