Year 5 & 6 Easington Trip 19.06.2019
On Wednesday 19th June 2019 the Year 5 and Year 6 classes went on a trip to Easington Primary Academy.
They started the day on the beach at Easington looking for fossils and skimming stones – they even spotten a seal in the sea!
After walking back to the school, the children split into 4 groups and for the rest of the day they rotated.
Activity 1 was pond-dipping – the children used nets, trays and magnifying glasses to look at all of the creatures from the pond.
Activity 2 was shelter building in the forest – the children had to build a shelter from the trees and materials they could find.
Activity 3 was a walk around the woods – the children listened to all of the different sounds as well as looking for wildlife along the way.
Activity 4 was a mixture of sports on the field – lots of fun playing kick rounders and throwing the vortex.
The children behaved excellently and were a credit to Marfleet Primary.
